Fixer In Nepal

What We Provide

At FixerInNepal, we help you find the right locations for your story, whether it’s city streets, heritage sites, mountain landscapes, or remote villages. We handle location permissions, coordinate with local authorities, and manage everything on the ground, so your shoot runs smoothly without interruptions.

Who this is for

Directors, producers and location managers planning a shoot in Nepal who need places that suit the story and can be filmed legally, from Kathmandu streets and heritage squares to mountain and village settings.

What is included
  • Location research against your script, look and schedule.
  • Scouting visits with photos and notes on access, light, noise and crowds.
  • Location permissions and coordination with local authorities and site managers.
  • On-the-ground management during the shoot, including access, parking and local liaison.
How it works
  1. You send the script or treatment, dates and the look you want.
  2. We propose locations and report back from scouting visits.
  3. We secure permissions, including any extra consent needed for heritage sites and protected areas.
  4. We manage the location on shoot days.

Heritage sites and protected areas need extra consent on top of the main film permit, so the earlier we know your locations, the better. See our film permit service and our guide to getting a film permit in Nepal.
